Two Sides To The Story

How many times have you heard the story from someone? You couldn’t believe how angry or upset you became. You steamed and stewed over it and even passed the story along to others. Their reaction was the same as yours. Unfortunately, all this emotion was over one side of the story. When you finally heard the other side, and their always tends to be another side, you felt like a fool. The other side changes everything. If only you had known the other side before you became so upset and shared it with others. This is probably the kind of thing Solomon had in mind when he wrote in Proverbs 18:17; “The first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him.” Remember, there are always two sides to the story.

Top | Reply to this Title: Timely Author: Terry Mullican (http://www.mullicanminute.com) Date Posted: 01 Mar 2010 04:19 PM (GMT -06:00) Your timing is impeckable!  I have found myself lately trying to calm others down and get them to think about the other person.  What is going on in their life which would cause them to act out or have abnormal behavior?  Show a little mercy and these stories fall by the wayside!  End the end, this person needed someone to just show them God's love...
